Brooklyn storms it

AFTER a million phone calls, the Wilden club still produced a fantastic day's racing last Sunday.
The Autos saw a full line-up of little trojans battling it out and riding the course with ease, having four races on the day. Please note the Autos and Novices now have their own track running alongside the main track - a great place to be at this time of year.
The winner of the meeting was Brooklyn Evans who was chased by Owen Woodhouse and Colin Challenor. Dads and mums shouted and screamed and could be heard for miles.
The Novice 65 Junior class glory went to Jamie Osbourne who battled it out with second placed Nathan Bachs.
A good line-up of Junior 65s turned out on the day with Jordan Pyne coming back from his injury the week before.
Consistency on the day and some good riding got Jordan the overall win from second placed Josh Gilbert.
Third placed Ryan Turnbull, no stranger to Wilden, pushed his way through losing out by only a few points.
The winning place in the Small-wheel 85s went to Cory Southwood, followed closely by Ricky Roderick.
The Big-wheel 85s, including 150s, saw the winning place taken up by club regular Joe Jones, always up there on the winner's podium and giving us some great racing. Second place was taken by Jack Timms with third going to Daniel Thornhill.
There were not many 125 class schoolboys with only two-strokes allowed to ride, but some great racing came from Jake Allsop.
The Two-stroke only Adult group was almost full. In first place was the fantastic Rob Barney who had great racing and some good battles and local lad Dale Raynor chased Rob all day. Close behind them was a Welsh wonder, young Liam Davies, a name to watch closely in the championships this year.
