Cosworth link helps Bike It

Cosworth has brought a new philosophy to the sport in its collaboration with Steve Dixon's Bike It Yamaha team this year.
Dixon: In motocross it has always been the aim of the teams to have their bikes ready for the first GP and that is what they will race all season. But Cosworth personnel have already told us that they plan updates every four or five-weeks through the season, just as it happens in F1.
The team owner was also enthusiastic about the technical advantages which have come from the link with Cosworth Engineering. And not just the precision engineering and decades of knowledge on engine tuning: We have always had a good relationship with Rinaldi, but now I call up on Monday to Cosworth and have a direct one-on-one link with the engineers. For the first time we are in charge of our own destiny.
