Beta UK and Edmondson Racing have joined forces to support a trio of young Cumbrian talent in next years British Enduro and Sprint Enduro Championships.

The first of the three riders will be James Dent who will campaign the new 2016 250cc BETA RR "Factory Racing” model in the BEC series along with selected European Enduro rounds, British Enduro Sprint Championship and hopefully the ISDE.

He will ride in the Championship class of the BEC in E2 on the 250 cc two stroke machine.

The second of the trio is Jake Gowan who too will campaign the same 250 BETA RR "Factory Racing” model bike.

His recent entry in to the Enduro scene saw wins in the opening and closing rounds of the Expert class of 2015 BEC but sadly a knee injury saw him sit out most of the middle season.

The decision to let the knee recover fully was the right one long term and his motocross experience and speed will be a big positive in the team's efforts to see him at the sharp end of the class in 2016.

Last but certainly not least is Joel Gowan who brings his own forte of national trials experience to the team to partner brother Jake in the Expert class of the BEC.

Joel too is relatively new to Enduros and his result in the last Muntjac round of the BEC shows he too will be at the sharp end of that class in 2016.

He will campaign the bigger 300 RR Beta in the E3 class.

John Lampkin.... "I'm really pleased to hear the positive comments of all three riders. With Derricks involvement, it will be a good move for them all.”

Derrick Edmondson... "To have these three guys show such interest in riding the Beta bikes, coupled with their commitment and genuine enthusiasm is a real breath of fresh air. Everyone involved is truly looking forward to a enjoyable and successful 2016 championship season”.
