DOUGIE Lampkin produced a surprise package for riders at the Scarborough DMC trial at the clubs very own Harwood Dale on Sunday with an all new Vertigo on display as well as the opportunity of a test ride, east Yorks correspondent John Watson tells us.
Not surprisingly it proved to be a fully booked day on the testing front, the bike never getting chance to cool off and reports from riders were all highly complimentary.
Darren Johnson - a good lad on a bike back in the day - and still is - had a run out and could not believe the usable power available and how it dug in and gripped.
Well, conditions were certainly slippery enough to test even the finest on Sunday.
