ENDUROLAND has announced the Quad Terrain Challenge UK, a new series modelled on the successful WPSA series in the USA for 4x4 machines.
The four-round series will feature a man-made track of around half-a-mile in length. Obstacles will include logs, tyres, rocks and a bomb hole. The layout will be designed to appeal to spectators who will be able to see the whole course from a single viewing point.
The organiser, Nigel Wheatley, is hoping to attract support from all the major manufacturers and is asking interested riders and companies to contact him on 07958-101833 or e-mail at nigelmic@aol.com
The first round will take place at the Enduroland Endurofest at Adstone, Northants, in September.
This Sunday, March 29, marks the re-opening of the Adstone track, where potential QTC riders will be able to have a go on the man-made track.
The total course at Adstone is about four-miles round and has some scenic riding promised as well as woods and ditches.
