QUADS graced the track at the third round of The British Supercross Championships at Liverpool on Saturday night and the riders involved put on a great spectacle for the appreciative crowds who enjoyed seeing the four-wheel lads go bar to bar for top honours.
Current championship leader Giles Davies leapt out of the block first and claimed the holeshot going into the whoops. A routine win looked like it was on the cards for Giles but he crashed early on which allowed Cumbrian Mark Watson, a former sidecar competitor, to take the lead which he held onto until the end of the race. Second was Paul Broomhead who closed the gap on Davies at the top of the leaderboard to just six points going into Saturday's final showdown at London's O2 arena. Third spot on the podium went to Oliver Samsom who is just a further point behind Broomhead.
RESULTS
1 Mark Watson, 2 Paul Broomhead, 3 Oliver Samson, 4 Giles Davies, 5 Liam Carter.
