Hawes about this?

THE top British National trials action this weekend comes in the shape of the annual White Rose Trial which takes place on Sunday, in the Hawes area of Yorkshire, where a total of 107 riders will contest the one lap moorland event. All the big names in northern trialling will be in action including Dan Thorpe, Ian Austermuhle, Phil Disney, Zac Sherwin, Aran Dachenberg, Ross Crosby, Sam Ludgate and Dan Farrer who will all be in the mix somewhere, but Sam Haslam, who recently won the prestigious Manx Two-Day Trial, will pose the major threat to the locals.
Just 20 contenders start at the back of the field to contest the full White Rose National sections but they will be preceeded by 44 Clubmen and 40 Green course (50/50) contestants.
The White Rose start as usual is to the west of the Cam High Road, high above the village of Gayle on the Hubberholme road, from the Hawes approach or via Buckden and Hubberholme up the Wharfe Valley. The first rider starts at 10.01am and is scheduled to finish at 5.01pm.
