TEN-year-old Jamie Osbourne, from Weston Coyney, has been in sparkling form in this year's Wilden Winter Championship, where he currently sits proudly at the top of the Junior 65cc standings.

However, recently Jamie had an audience of a different kind. Racing around the school playing field on your motocross bike waving at the teachers as you pull the biggest wheelie past the headmasters office is a dream scenario for most young motocrossers. Well, it wasn't quite like that but Jamie did put on a full throttle' display in front of his schoolmates giving them a taste of what Youth Motocross is all about and giving them a real insight into what he gets up to at weekends.

Jamie's head teacher, Andrew Bamford, organised the display and said Children amaze me with the things they do outside of school. We've heard about Jamie's skills and it seemed natural to show the other pupils what he does.

Jamie's plans for the winter months are to first finish the WMXC championship and maybe do some of the up coming Supercross events, together with a bit of continental training before setting out for a full blown 2010 season of national competition in both BYMX and EYC events.
