Joel takes gold

LAST Saturday evening saw another excellent presentation night held by Merthyr MCC at the Morlais Golf club in Merthyr. Topping the awards was young Joel Edwards who was awarded the club's premier trophy, ‘The Golden Helmet' which is awarded to the club member that has gained the highest achievement in the year. Joel finished as runner-up in the ACU British Youth C class Trials Championship in 2006 and fully deserved the award.
