DESPITE both being less than 100 per cent fit, Britain's two entrants in the second round of the Indoor Enduro World Cup, David Knight and Tom Sagar, are hopeful that they will be right on the night in Munich this Sunday as Knight hopes to extend his championship lead, while Tom hopes to improve on his Barcelona results.

Claiming two wins and a runner-up finish to come away from the opening round of the series as leader of the championship Knighter is keeping his fingers crossed that the breathing problems he suffered at last weekend's Last Man Standing event in Texas, USA won't hamper his performance too much.
"I've been to see my doctor as well as to the hospital for chest X-rays,” commented Knight mid-week. "I was told that the breathing problems I had could have been anything. I'm on antibiotics and hope to find out more before heading to Germany.
"The event in Munich should be really good. There's a Supercross the night before, which should be good to watch. It'll be interesting to see how the track is, it might just be a Supercross track with a few logs and rocks.”
Also heading to Munich will be Tom Sagar. Knowing what to expect having competed in his first indoor event in Barcelona, Tom simply wants to do as well as he can, having been unable to train properly since the world cup opener due to suffering with tendonitis picked up during the ISDE in Chile.
"I'm looking forward to the event but not expecting too much of myself. My wrist still isn't like it should be so I'm just going to do my best and enjoy riding a new indoor track.”
