Following the very successful recent round of the BSMA Doodson National GT Cup Series at Wildtracks, Chippenham, the organising committee has decided to implement a number of small changes that it believes will improve the series.

It has been decided that at all future rounds the holeshot prizes will be awarded at the end of each race and a photograph taken with the top three finishers.

In future, no rider will be allowed to take their trophies before the presentation at the end of each event. If a rider needs to leave the meeting early, then the BSMA will make arrangements for them to receive their trophy later, or at the following round.

All riders have been supplied with a front number plate for the series, which the BSMA would prefer riders to use. It is appreciated that this may cause some riders a problem, and the BSMA will accept a plain number plate or one with a sponsor's name. It will not, however, accept number plates issued by other series organisers.

The next round of the GT Cup series is at Wroxton, Oxfordshire. This is a track that the BSMA as an organisation has not used before. It's a spectacular venue with good viewing over most of the circuit and the BSMA Chairman,  Peter Ingram, is sure that it will be popular with all the riders.

At present, the BSMA is seeking marshals for this event and the events at Stratford and Brookthorpe. It pays a fee of £40 per day. If you are interested please telephone Jean Ingram on 07951-313057 as soon as possible.
