FOLLOWING a meeting on February 21, the NETT Quad Championship has now appointed a full committee for 2007 and has agreed to run under the auspices of Iveston and Satley MXC.

The aim of this association is to preserve and continue the tradition of one of the North East's longest standing clubs, which is seeking to re-group after losing the Witton Castle track last year, while at the same time continuing to encompass and grow the UK's longest running Quad Championship.

NETT was formed by Jim Fiddy of Washington back in 1985, when trikes were the best thing since sliced bread - and then subsequently run from 1993 by Paul Anderson's dad, with Paul now continuing his involvement in the club, but taking more of a back seat to run his business and mastermind the second year in the British Quad Championship for the official Suzuki UK Quad team.

The NETT Club will be one of the first English-based clubs to actively take up the ACU's decision to support Youth Quad racing, having witnessed the success had in 2006 by Quad Racing Scotland. The aim of this decision is for the whole Championship to re-group this year and put down strong foundations for both the near and long-term future of the club and quad racing in the North of the UK.

Now, it's simply a question for all the guys and girls out there to decide if they want to be part of that or not!

The 2007 event dates have already been issued and club membership forms, rules, regs etc are now being put together for distribution to all existing club members within the next couple of weeks.

In order to ensure things go smoothly, initial rounds will be postal entries only and all riders must supply a marshal, in order to ensure all members have a fair share of the responsibility in making the meetings, and the club, a success.

Classes for 2007 will be:-
