THE return to the Lincolnshire seaside resort of Ingoldmells, next to Skegness by the QRA for the Gold Rush Beach Cross weekend is on Saturday and Sunday March 27/28. The event is a two day meeting for Adult Solo's, Quads and Youth Quads 200/250cc classes. In addition, if the interest turns into reality, there will be a Senior Youth Solo class.

The event provides three point-scoring races each day for each class, with overall results based on an accumulative point scoring basis over the six races. There will be a Saturday morning qualifier heat to determine A' or B'

class.

The event is FREE to spectators and always draws a good crowd which is great for our sport and for the riders to perform in front of people adds to the buzz. The work area is marked out on the beach with competitor parking along the promenade, so anyone camping will have a proper sea view, with all that Ingoldmells has to offer only a short walk away.

The course is approximately one and half miles and laid out above the tide lines, not riding through standing water.

The two day Ingoldmells event is standalone but in addition the points scored will go forward in to the new Beach X UK championship. Rounds one and two were at Margate. Then at the other end of the season, October 24/25 back at Ingoldmells and then Margate for the final two rounds (date to be confirmed)
