Pieces of eight

DAVID Knight put his disappointment from the Las Vegas Endurocross behind him to dominate the eighth running of the Barcelona International Indoor Enduro. He won all four of his heat races before towering above his rivals in the Superfinal to again show that he's the world's best indoor Enduro rider.
Making it the perfect night for KTM, Spaniards Ivan Cervantes and Xevi Galindo topped the E1 and E2 classes while Paul Edmondson claimed a solid runner-up finish in E1 as indoor enduro first timers, Wayne Braybrook and Graham Jarvis, received a baptism of fire.
REIGNING World E3 Champion, David Knight, delivered what was arguably his most dominant indoor enduro performance ever at the eighth running of the Barcelona International Indoor Enduro where he topped all four of his E3 class heat races before blitzing the Superfinal at the end of the night.
Wishing to put his disappointing third place result at the Las Vegas Endurocross behind him, Knight came out with all guns blazing in his first E3 heat race and set a pace that none of his rivals could match.
Then, repeating his winning ways in his remaining heats, David rounded out the night with a perfect four wins out of four in the E3 class. Proving once again to be the king of indoor enduro racing Knight then dominated the all-comers Superfinal race at the end of the night.
"It's been a great night. I put in the fastest time in qualifying by four-seconds, won my four heat races and then the Superfinal, it couldn't really have gone any better. I wasn't the fastest rider off the start in any of my races but I managed to get into the lead by out-braking the others into the first corner.
"Each of my E3 races were pretty similar. I got good starts and then tried to open up a good lead. I had a close moment in the second heat when I nose-dived over a double and then went off the track but apart from that, all went well.”
