Fresh from winning the Under 18 category at the recent Pont de Vaux 12 hour, the Rocketman Suzuki team is already planning its assault for 2013.

It's hoped the victorious squad of Laurence Stopps (left), Aaron Pole (centre) and Jak Griffiths, pictured collecting their trophies in France, will stay together and compete in the open category

"Two of them will definitely be going and hopefully all three will stick together,” said team boss Jason Smith. "Their performance was the real icing on the cake this year.

It would be great if they can carry on and build on it.”

The veteran team of Chris Murphy, Geoff Sharp and Ant Barrett would also have won the over 40s category again this year.

But sadly the organisers opted not to present the award this year

The lead team of Carl Bunce, Chris Cooper and Ricky Tordoff ended 12th overall and leading British team, despite losing 12 laps fixing a broken steering column after being shunted by a French machine.
