The world famous Hawkstone Park acres is ready for an awesome weekends sport when the WOR Events team take over the hallowed circuit next weekend, September 15/16 for the Hawkstone Park Special.
We're told that 400 riders are already booked in for this off road spectacular. However lots of entries are still available. Organiser, Steve Ireland, is keen to secure more entries for the kids Hare Scramble on the Saturday afternoon – 2pm till 3.30pm. Entries are on the low side for the nippers and we are urging parents to get the little ones entered and enjoy this unique opportunity to ride at Hawkstone Park using all the woodlands and most of the motocross circuit.
Another superb opportunity to ride Hawkstone comes in the form of the Open Playtime session – from 3.30pm till 6pm – that the club is running to finish off the Saturday programme.
Offering the entire Hawkstone motocross circuit and the surrounding woodlands, this again is a unique chance to simply have a play on Hawkstone's loamy terrain.
Riders in the Open Play session can chosse to stay just on the MX track or drift off into the woods – it is their choose. With the playtime session being limited to 70 riders it will offer three-hours of unrivalled riding action without the pressure of racing. (NB: There are only 34 places remaining.)
