After a two-year absence, Saturday, January 5, 2013 will see the Sheffield Indoor Trial back as part of the prestigious FIM X-Trial World Championship, when the long established and highly applauded event will open the new series.
The only reason that the event has not been in the World Championship calendar for the past two years is
because Sheffield promoters Neil Crosswaite and Martin Lampkin refused to compromise the event over the demands regarding the live televising of the show.
The 2013 series will be filmed but it will not be broadcast live. It is understood that an edited version will be aired at a later date
Riders already booked are World X-Trial and Outdoor Champion Toni Bou, Adam Raga, Jeroni Fajardo and crowd favourite takahisa Fujinami while Brit Jack Challenor gets his big chance to take on the established Indoor names.
