Sherco Cook-up a deal for Becky

Hot on the tail of the recent press release regarding recent signing of Ben Morphett, comes news that the Sherco factory and MRS have, once again, signed Becky Cook for 2011.
The vastly experienced Sherco rider, who has won six British Championships and finished second in the World Championship for the last two years, has signed a contract for the 2011 season. The quiet but skilled Isle of Wightn resident will be receiving bikes prepared by ace trials engineer Josep Paxau and will ride directly for the factory, as well as contesting events in the UK. BVM Moto, the influentila trials dealers in Stroud,m Gloucetershire, who have supported Becky for many years now, will continue to help her. Becky's minder, Craig Talbot, does indeed work at BVM himself.
The Barcelona factory think a lot of Becky, who goes about her business in a very professional and quiet way, not dissimilar to a previous Sherco British Champion – Graham Jarvis. Luis Gallach and Albert Cabestany always put themselves out for Becky at world rounds and after visiting Paxau's workshop during the season for special tuning on her 290, Sherco's development guru is more than happy to prepare bikes especially for her.
Becky has shown a lot of lads how to ride the Expert B Class this year and, with this being a lot harder than the Ladies Championship, she is looking forward to contesting this again next year in order to continue to improve.
For all you lads who would like to see how a Sherco should be ridden, MRS invite you all along to the Sherco Weekend Extravaganza where Becky will be in action and, no doubt, showing a few of the MRS riders how it should be done!
The Sherco Extravaganza includes test rides on all the 2011 models plus you can watch demo rides by top Sherco supported riders and even meet Mr Sherco, Marc Teissier, who is flying into Britain specially for the event. The venue is Harefiled Hall, Pateley Bridge in Yorkshire. See page two this week for further details.
