FOR lots of British riders it has been one of the toughest times to secure rides and sponsors for the fast approaching 2010 season. As many know, its going to take a while before things start to pick up. Although the majority of riders are signed up ready for the New Year, there are still a few that have been sitting quietly under the radar waiting for things to fall into place from them.

Alex Snow is one of those riders, and a niggling shoulder injury mid-season put paid to his campaign. The 2008 British Under 21 Champion was forced to take a three-month break in order to undergo surgery and then commence his preparation for 2010, which has taken longer than expected.

After a lot of hard work the 21-year-old South West rider has finally found himself on his feet again and he will switch from orange to green, to join forces with Albion Motorcycles and Kawasaki UK to race MX1 in the domestic national championships in the UK next season.

I am really pleased to finally have sorted a deal on Albion Kawasakis. It has been extremely tough to get things in place, but now it's nice to be able to relax knowing things are finally moving in the right direction. I'd like to say a big thanks to Gary Elston at Albion and Ross Burridge at Kawasaki, for pulling this deal together. Now I can look forward to racing again,'' said Snow.

Gary Elston from Albion added: I am pleased to have put a deal together for Alex. I believe it will be a great opportunity for Albion and Alex to work together, particularly as we're based so close together in the South West. We both look forward to having a successful year.''

With winter preparations well underway and the all clear from the doctor to start riding again, Alex is excited to be back on a bike, and with a complete new look and change of colour, it's a fresh start to propel him towards the first British Championship round on February 28.

Other contributing sponsors include: Alpinestar, Troy Lee, CTI, Southfork Racing, Renthal, Pro Carbon, Pulse Racing, DEP, Samco, Fro Systems, PJ Couriers, and Broomsmead Tarmac Specialists.
