THE Cheshire North West SSC will be hosting this year's annual BYMX Team Event this weekend, October 17 and 18, at the Norley track in Cheshire.

With the maximum 13 teams entered, each with 20 riders per team, this is going to be one meeting not to miss. Last year's winners, the Cumbria team, will be out to keep hold of their title after winning it for the last two years on their own tracks in Cumbria, but moving to Cheshire just might change things, as Scotland and Ireland will again be sending some strong teams, along with the Cheshire North West team who I am sure will be fielding a strong team to take the title at their home track.

Classes for the team event will be made up of Junior 65cc, Small-wheel 85cc, Big-wheel 85cc, Youth 125cc and the Adult class of AMX riders, each with four riders making 20 riders per team. Day one will see four blocks of racing, whilst on day two there will be three blocks of racing making a total of 35 races over the weekend.

Gates will be open from Friday dinner time and all teams are to park in their designated areas in the paddock. Signing on will take place from 6pm-8pm on Friday, and from 7.30 on Saturday morning. Practice will commence at 9am on Saturday with the first race commencing at 10am.

The organisers have been hard at work getting the track and paddocks ready for what should be an exciting weekend's racing. The address for the track is Beech Lane Norley Cheshire.
