GENUS Motorsport will be celebrating its ten-year anniversary as a team during the 2008 racing season. In past years the team has shown a large presence at many off-road enduro/ hare and hound events held across the country.

The team started out supporting clubmen and expert riders, and in later years progressed into supporting a Pro/ Championship rider.
For the 2008 season, Genus will be supporting team leader Chris Tett and new team member Gethin Price. Both riders will competing in the E3 class in the British Enduro Championships, plus the Putoline XC and WOR series, in addition to selected World Championship events.
Gethin has joined the Genus team, after enjoying a good season racing for PAR Homes enduro squad. Gethin finished as one of the leading Expert riders in the 2007 BEC series, and has decided to take the natural progression into the Pro/ Championship class.
Chris is hoping to have the best season to date, after suffering a series of injuries in recent years, and will be fully fit heading into the New Year.
Both riders will campaign Honda CRF480 machinery and will be backed with some of the best industry sponsors.
Genus will be sticking to its traditional base and plans to back a number of Clubman riders who will contest various events next year.
In addition to this, Genus is pleased to announce that it will also be assisting Sam Haslam, alongside his main sponsor Gas Gas UK. Sam is one of the country's brightest trial stars, who will be concentrating on the British and World Trials Championships, the Scottish Six Days, the Scott Trial and other top-line nationals events.
Finally, the team would like to pass on its thanks to all the sponsors and families that have been involved in supporting the team over the years.
