FORMER national Youth champion, Richie Worral, has been using the Wilden Moto Goo Winter Series as a serious training platform for what is, in many ways, a comeback season after breaking both of his legs this time last year while in Spain training with the CCM factory team. Seventeen-year-old Richie, from St Helens, will be riding a Pro Seal KTM UK machine this time round, with additional support from Scott, Acerbis and ABR.
Richie explained at the weekend just how good it was now to be approaching full fitness
following the frustrations of spending so much time on the sidelines during 2008, although he
admitted it was a great learning experience being with the CCM team.
With some great winter performances already under his belt, he is now looking forward to the opening round of the ACU Under 21 Championship at Little Silver on February 22.
The Under 21 series, along with a full Maxxis British Championship campaign, together with Red Bull Pro Nationals and a few selected European events, are on his racing agenda.
