Thriller Jackson a smash-hit at Three Sisters!

MIKE Taylor had strong competition this weekend at the sixth round of Nora's National Quad Supermoto Championships at the Three Sisters circuit, Wigan, from several Irish riders.
Mark Donnelly dominated the first race with CathalMcCartan in second place, while Taylor finished fourth and ColinJackson claimed third.
McCartan took the early lead in race two but Donnelly was pushing hard to close the gap between them.
Mark eventually claimed the lead with a couple oflaps to go and posted his second win of the day, while McCartan wassecond and Colin Jackson again third.
Gareth Thomas moved in on Steve Butler early inthe race to claim fourth spot, while Mike Taylor retired with machineproblems in the third lap. Aaron Ebbitt fell from his quad before thestart of race three - and although he managed to start the race - hesoon retired on lap one.
This left Mark Donnelly with a good chance of thewin. He maintained the lead for eight laps but Colin Jackson took thetop spot as Mark slipped down into fourth position with machinetroubles.
McCartan retired on lap four, as did Mike Wright,while Gareth Thomas made the most of the position changes and movedsteadily up from sixth to his final second place.
Steve Butler had remained consistent for the wholeday and claimed third spot in the final. However, Mark Donnellycaptured the most points from the day's racing, with Colin Jacksonclose behind.
Nevertheless, Mike Taylor still leads the championship standings with Gareth Thomas in second spot.
