LAST Saturday, July 26, riders gathered at East London's Track KG5 to take part in the second annual Docklands 100'.
The fund raising event saw over 50 riders aged six to 60 attempt to complete 100 laps each of the track after a major re-vamp at the famous training and development facility in the east end of London.
In total, 5,000 laps were completed - 1,650 miles - during the sun drenched event where riders had to compete against the heat and dusty conditions.
A new addition to the event this year was the trials competition which saw riders pit their skills against a challenging set of obstacles, the winners of this were:
Auto - Jemima Salt.
Junior - Felix Austin.
Youth - Sam Bezzina.
Adult - Gary Pillbeam.
The Track KG5 team would like to thank everyone who took part in the event and helped to raise money, and also to the events sponsors, Jim Aim motorcycles, Kriega.com, Kawasaki UK, Paul Green Tyres, DNA Creative, Motoden and Acerbis UK.
A very special mention also to Daniel Sultana for his extraordinary effort. Good on ya Daniel.
