Another perfect performance for Josep Garcia

Josep García delivered a perfect weekend at round five of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship in Fafe, Portugal, completing a dominant clean sweep.
The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider topped Friday’s Super Test before going on to win both days outright, marking his second triple victory of the season following his earlier success on home soil in Oliana.
Racing in hot, dry and punishing conditions, García was in control throughout. Despite not feeling fully comfortable on Saturday, he still did enough to secure the overall win by eight seconds over Andrea Verona.
Sunday was a different story.
Back to his best from the off, García dominated proceedings and stretched his advantage to more than 30 seconds over Hamish Macdonald by the end of the day.
The result strengthens his grip on both championships, with García now leading the EnduroGP standings by 34 points over Verona, while also holding a commanding advantage in Enduro1.
With just two rounds remaining in France and Wales, the Spaniard has taken a significant step towards defending the titles he claimed in 2025.
“We’ve had a perfect weekend,” said García. “Saturday was a bit tricky as I didn’t feel at my best, but Sunday I was riding how I wanted and could control the race. I’m really happy with how everything went.”
