THE Maxxis British Championship road-show rolled into Scotland for the third round of the series, at the beautifully prepared Duns track devised by Johnny Hamilton and Borders MXC.
After last year's attempt was spoiled by bad weather the club was looking forward to the weather being kind, and that's exactly what they got – along with the weather, they got what must be the best racing action witnessed this year.
In the MX1 class, there was close racing all day between a host of riders, but it was Evgney Bobryshev who came out on top at the end of play. In MX2 it was just as fierce, but as Zach Osbourne was on fire and won all three races, comfortably leaving everyone else to battle for the other positions.
After commanding the qualifying and Superpole sessions, Zach Osborne showed he was going to be fast around the track, and Jake Nicholls and Martin Barr were going to have to be on top form to beat him.
In race one Osbourne took off in the lead with Barr chasing him hard. Mel Pocock and Nicholls followed, but Osborne just extended his lead lap after lap to take the win.
