In what has been an exciting and unpredictable season, the 2012 Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship made its final stop at the spectacular Canada Heights venue in Kent, for rounds nine and ten of the series.
With the majority of the championships still up for grabs, the sand-based circuit offered a perfect mixture of natural woodland, flowing grass-track and the world class motocross track on which to settle the championship standings.
Electraction TM's Jordan Rose battled through a testing weekend of niggling problems to claim the Elite championship.
Hoping for a trouble-free race, Rose faced an uphill fight from the beginning of round nine when a stone jammed his rear wheel.
Pushing hard throughout the day he eventually placed second.
Again the problem arose at round ten. With chance of victory lost, hedug deep to finish fourth and seal the coveted title. "It's been brilliant to have won the British Sprint Enduro Championship,” said Rose.
Making his debut in the BSEC, Husqvarna factory rider Matti Seistola quickly adapted to the new format of sprint racing.
Although making some costly errors early on Saturday, the Finn soon opened up a lead to claim victory.
Clearly enjoying the perfect conditions at round ten, Seistola rode a flawless race to secure his second victory of the weekend.
