TADDY Blazusiak claimed his second consecutive World Indoor Enduro Cup overall victory on Saturday evening as the Polish KTM star secured three convincing race wins at the Genoa Indoor Enduro. Just missing out on a podium result, Dougie Lampkin put his disappointing Sheffield performances behind him to perform well at the Italian event, while Graham Jarvis endured a tough night finishing sixth overall.
Joining Dougie and Graham in delivering impressive results were UEM Junior Cup category riders Richard Ellwood and Lee Sampson. After making light work of their qualifying races they claimed a respective one-two result in the class final with Ellwood dominating the five-lap race.
Repeating his performances at the opening round of the Indoor Enduro World Cup in Sheffield, KTM's Taddy Blazusiak has once again put his name at the top of the series, this time dominating the second round staged at the Palexpo in Genoa, Italy.
Handicapped by a knee injury off track, on it there was no stopping the championship leader as he won every race he contested. Faster than all other riders during qualifying the opening race saw the Polish star claim a comfortable win, leading from start to finish.
Race two was a very different story as a less than perfect start was followed by a small fall on the opening lap.
This meant Taddy lost a lot of ground on race leader Ivan Cervantes. Steadily working his way past five riders during the second and third laps, the Pole finally overhauled Cervantes to claim his most impressive win of the night.
