Chatfield lines up for S. Briggs at VMXdN Hawkstone

Fan favourite Adam Chatfield will line up for Team S. Briggs in the Wright Engineering Team Race at VMXdN Hawkstone this August Bank Holiday weekend.
The 39-year-old globetrotting racer has built a reputation as one of the sport’s most versatile competitors, with a career that has taken him across the world and delivered standout performances on a variety of stages.
Hailing from Wiltshire, Chatfield spent much of his formative career in the USA, where he enjoyed notable success before returning to Europe. Since then, he has consistently proven his class, particularly in the tight, technical confines of Arenacross. While Hawkstone Park’s fast, flowing sand circuit presents a very different challenge, it’s one he relishes, with the iconic venue ranking among his favourites.
Rejoining the S. Briggs squad, Chatfield has both the machinery and the support to mount a serious charge for victory on Sunday afternoon.

Chatfield is also remembered for one of the sport’s more unusual moments, having famously used the claiming rule to acquire Mike Alessi’s CRF150 at Loretta Lynn’s - fortunately, that’s one rule that won’t be in play at Hawkstone!
The countdown to VMXdN 2026, backed by title sponsor The Range, is now firmly underway, with excitement building ahead of the event’s move to the legendary Hawkstone Park circuit - widely regarded as one of the UK’s most iconic motocross venues.
With anticipation continuing to rise, organisers have urged fans to stay tuned, with further rider announcements set to follow in the coming weeks.
