Crockard lines-up for Sheffield SX

WITH just three-weeks to go before the Sheffield Supercross blasts-off, organiser Future West has signed-up three more top riders for the big night which takes place on Saturday, November 3, and they are Ulster superstar Gordon Crockard, Yamaha Canada's Kyle Beaton and Spanish Supercross ace Xavier Hernandez.
These three join an already incredible line-up ofInternational Supercross stars, which T+MX revealed last week, set forthe Sheffield round of the NEW Future West ACU British SupercrossChampionship which is hoped to be the most exciting SheffieldSupercross yet.
PAR Homes Honda rider, Crockard, is looking tobetter his third place at Sheffield last year while Beaton, formerCardiff Supercross winner with his run-and-gun, come from behind style,is sure to excite the Sheffield crowd as he has done on many occasionsmaking him a British Supercross crowd favourite.
Spanish Supercross star Hernandez will make hisBritish Supercross debut aboard a Wildmoor Yamaha. Hernandez, aSupercross vet will be keen to make his mark on the British Supercrossscene.
"This is probably our best and closest line-upever,” said an excited John Hellam of Future West. "I honestly can'tthink of a better, more evenly-rounded field in the past. We have thehardened, determined veterans of Supercross and the talented and hungryyoung guns all with their national pride on the line.
"I guarantee this will be the best Sheffield SXever seen. It is usually easy for me to predict the top three but thisyear I honestly have no idea who will be on the podium.”
