The lower step of the podium went toNorthern Ireland's Martin Barr who crashed whilst holding second placeon the final lap. He picked his machine up and carried on grabbingthird place.

Barr said: "In race one my back brake went and in race two, I hadhoped for the top step but Stephen just pulled away. I crashed twoweeks ago and I haven't been able to train so I made a mistake on thelast lap of race two. I'm happy just to be on the podium. I'm lookingforward to Foxhill as I will be aiming for the win.”
Nicholls enthused: "It's been good; I qualified well which is not mystrong point. I've had a couple of good GPs and a second in race one.In race two I just hit a wall as I was behind Bradshaw and I took toolong to pass. I enjoyed the track but when I tried to pass I was suckedinto the sand.”
A delighted Sword commented: "I've had two weeks off from the GPs andit was a good decision, but a hard one to make. Everything is going toplace and I'm back on form, I feel I'm riding my best.
