Enduro News: Tong ready for Extreme

Entries are now open for Eddys Xtreme Enduro at Tong near Bradford on January 10
This event is the opening round of the 2016 ACU British Extreme Enduro Championship that features four rounds throughout the season.
Round Two will take place at Cowm Quarry on February 7, round three will be Extreme Ravines at Helmsley on April 24 with the final round, Ed's of the Valley, in South Wales on December 4.
The series will more than cater for the sharp rise in popularity of Extreme and Hard Enduros with four tough but very different rounds which will see the Champion crowned at the end of next season.
The opening round always attracts a great entry and equally impressive crowd of spectators and with David Knight and Graham Jarvis already
confirmed for the event, interest is high and entries are already coming in.
There will be the usual two-race format in place with Sportsman, Vets and Youth 13-16 riders out for the two-hour morning race followed by Clubman, Experts and Pros in the afternoon for two and a half hours.
Parkwood Offroad is the ideal opening round venue with its plentiful number of tough sections, ideal for spectators and ample parking.
