THE 2010 Lucas Oils AMA Pro Motocross Championship headed east for the Rockstar Energy High Point National, held at High Point Raceway this weekend, for round three of the series.

Intermittent rain made the going tricky for the riders, however mastering the conditions to lead the way after securing his first 450 class victory at last week's round was Suzuki's Ryan Dungey.

Dungey ended the night with a second consecutive victory to head the championship. Meanwhile, in the 250 class, competition was fierce, showing that this class has the potential for some real bar-banging action throughout the series. On the day it was the consistent Tyla Rattray whose 2-2 result earned him his first career victory in the 250s. Scottish born Dean Wilson once again showed he can run with the best, as he eked out a 5-6 scorecard to finish fifth overall and maintain third in the championship.
