David Knight announced his return to fitness last weekend with a double win at the second round of the GBXC series. Knighter fought back to pip Tom Sagar to the post in the Sprint then continued his good form by winning the X-Country event on Sunday.

Rogers Hill Raceway was bathed in sunshine throughout the weekend as Fast Eddy Racing descended on the Dorset venue for the second round of the GBXC Sprint Nationals, Steady Eddy and ACU GBXC Championship.

Everyone enjoyed the 6.5-mile long track that included motocross, enduro and enduro-x sections to cater for all riders and abilities.

The course was split into two special tests for Saturday's Sprint Nationals event with Pro Expert and Clubman riders in one group to take on the motocross test first as the Youth, Novice and Sportsman group tackled the Enduro test.

The groups swapped tests at lunchtime and both managed five runs on the MX test and six on the Enduro test.

Tom Sagar was as sharp as ever and took the lead in the Sprint tests but by the changeover at lunchtime Knight had made the decision to make a few changes himself and went on to pull back the deficit and win by the narrowest of margins – less than a second! Darryl Bolter put up a strong showing and firmly claimed third in the Pro class.
