Langston in for Vets des Nations

Former world 125cc champion Grant Langston will race the VMXdN at Farleigh Castle on September 3/4 next year.
The South African, world champion in Y2K and a multi-time AMA champion in motocross and supercross, will race a KX500. Also confirmed for the event are former world championship front-runners Dutchman Marc De Reuver and Danish rider Brian Jorgensen.
"Doug Dubach's pretty good friends with Grant," explains organiser Dave King, "and I've been speaking to his brother Andrew Langston and then all of a sudden I got an email from Grant saying he'd love to do it if I can get him a KX500.
"Fortunately, I've got a very good South African friend who comes to the event every year who buys the bikes [Doc] Wobbly builds so he's going to fly back two KX500s. In fact, Grant's going out to Cape Town in February to try the bikes.
"He probably won't be the headline rider as I'm still working on a couple of others. To be honest I'm spoilt for riders."
Both De Reuver and Jorgensen are no strangers to racing in the UK and are popular additions to the VMXdN entry.
"I've been on at Marc for two years to come over and he's always very receptive to the idea because he likes doing something different," added Dave. "He's a bit out of the box.
"I met Brian at the Vets at Glen Helen a couple of years ago and he was very keen to come but as with all of them they all lead busy lives and often the dates don't work out."
