Merthyr Tydfil’s Monster Mountain MX has announced the launch of the Monster Masters Wednesday Evening Race Series, a bold and electrifying addition to the UK motocross calendar. Running across three midweek rounds on June 25, July 23, and August 13, this series offers a completely unique format designed for maximum intensity, fast action, and serious rewards.
Unlike any other series in the country, the Monster Mountain Masters brings high-stakes racing to midweek evenings, combining four-lap sprint races with a crowd-thrilling six-lap Super Final. With racing compressed into a thrilling evening schedule, this format delivers all the action in a high-adrenaline, spectator-friendly window – perfect for working riders, local fans, and families.
Series Highlights
Three-Round Series: June 25, July 23, August 13 – all on Wednesday evenings.
Unique Race Format: Short, sharp four-lap heat races and a Super Final for the top 40 fastest adult riders.
Massive Prize Fund: A staggering £30,000 total prize pot, with £10,000 per round including cash for adult classes.
Youth & Adult Classes: 65cc, 85cc, 125cc, 250F, and 450cc – split into Steady and Pro categories.
Monster Track Action: Featuring the iconic Monster Mountain race track, reimagined for race night speed and style.
Super Final Showdown: The fastest 40 riders from the adult classes will battle it out for glory and the lion’s share of the prize money in a spectacular six-lap race under the lights.
