This month has been pretty hectic so writing this column SHOULD be a piece of cake... But after having a virus for the last two weeks Im struggling to even remember what happened yesterday never mind a month a go!

Luckily I write little reminders for myself and if anything significant happens or something funny happens it's there. The first thing on my list this month says simply ‘craven missed his flight'.
As I mentioned in my last column I was heading out to Italy for the 2016 KTM bike launch at Maggiora which I was pretty excited about.
I had a look on YouTube at the video before I went to see what all the hype was about and the first thing that popped up was the ‘86 nations there, the one were O'mara  passed Thorpey on the 125...  The track looked so sick! Then I got onto the newer videos from last couple of years and with a few added jumps the track looked pretty similar which I was happy about.
So, my bags were packed and an 11.30 flight meant there was no stupid o'clock get up! I got to Manchester and did the online check-in at the kiosk. I saw Paul Malin had already checked in and Martin Craven hadn't.
I thought I'd give him a call to let him know you printed the boarding passes off at the terminal and see where he was. All I got from him was ‘I f***ed up'!
He read the time wrong on the email and was never gonna make the flight on time. He had to the the call of shame to Ross at KTM to tell him which was pretty funny!
Anyway, we arrived at the hotel for the launch and it was all pretty formal and smart and Tony Cairoli and Jeffrey Herlings were there to reveal the new bike and all the worlds media! It was quite a big deal being there! Martin arrived at about two in the morning!
The next day we headed to the track and it didn't disappoint. It was such an epic track to ride, and I had so much fun throwing down on all the jumps.
The track was a bit wet it the morning but came good by dinner and couldn't have been any better.
I arrived back to England and had an FMX show back that night in Shrewsbury.
I pretty much got off the plane, into my van, got to the show, got my kit on and rode out on my bike so was a bit hectic but all good fun.
We have a two week break from doing shows next week so that will be pretty cool to be at home for a little while and catch up with my mates and hopefully this weather picks up a bit for then.
