Snow easy time

THE Welsh Trail Riders Association's Snowrun Enduro is, by tradition, the first real time-card enduro of the year.The course is based in the Crychan Forest in South Wales where the terrain alone presents plenty of challenges. This year, however, there were just short of 190 competitors and the organisers had the added difficulties brought about by freezing temperatures. The result was a highly interesting course with plenty of icy sections.
The Championship and Expert classes faced four laps of the 25-mile course with the short, fast and flowing cross-country Test timed on laps two, three and four. The other classes faced fewer laps and, as a result, fewer tests.
