Team Ireland were Suso good!
By TMX Archives on 22nd Oct 09

HIS year's annual Motul and Suso sponsored BYMX Team event was held at the pristine track at Norley in Cheshire, and what a great meeting it was, as 13 teams from all over the UK and Ireland set about winning this coveted title. The organisers, the Cheshire North West club, had done an excellent job on the track and was all prepared for a hectic weekend of racing.
First to the line on Saturday were the little pocket rockets the Junior boys and first to hit the front was Team Ireland A rider Aaron Piper and Team Oxford Ixions David Keet hard on his heels, followed by team-mate to Piper David Galvin in third. Battles were going on all down the field but the front three went on to finish in the same order and kick-start the points rolling for the teams. Piper went on to win race two, then Keet won the remaining races on the first day.
Connor Clark riding for the Cumbria team showed he is continuing to be up there and winning the races after a successful BYMX season finishing second in the Small-wheel 85cc class. He followed Oliver Osmaston into the first couple of bends, and after some daring moves got past to take the lead. Tom Neal was also in the mix and took second place in race one, with Robert Davidson having a steady ride to take third. The remaining races of the day saw Osmaston take a race two win. Tom Neal took race three, Osmaston took another win in race four and Clark finished the day with a race five win.
