T+MX wants YOU!

WOULD you like to work for your favourite off-road weekly paper? If the answer is Yes, here's your chance because Trials and Motocross News is on the lookout to recruit a reporter/ trainee reporter to take over the coveted role of Motocross Editor.
This rare opportunity is an office-based job at T+MX HQ in Morecambe, Lancashire, and the incumbent will be involved in every aspect of T+MX editorial, with special responsibility for the Motocross Diary pages and motocross event coverage. There will also obviously be the chance to attend the major British motocross meetings in order to report on them and research stories for the MX Diary and also to compile special features for the paper.
It is expected that the successful applicant will have a sound general education and would ideally hold professional qualifications although this is not a prerequisite and a trainee reporter would also be considered. A sound interest in, and knowledge of, motocross would be expected and if you happen to ride motocross then that's a bonus although again, not strictly necessary.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right person but a gentle word of warning to anyone who thinks it is an easy ride, this is not a job for the faint-hearted nor for the freeloader, it is a job that requires plenty of hard work and loyalty to the product and late night working is involved on production days which are Monday and Tuesday.
So, if you have decided that you are just the person for the job all you have to do is send off your current CV and a covering letter describing exactly why you should be the next Motocross Editor of T+MX News.
You can apply by post by writing to The Editor, T+MX News, Victoria Street, Morecambe, Lancs LA4 4AG or via e-mail to john.dickinson@tmxnews.co.uk
