Whiteway Barton postponed as Landowner pulls plug on St Blazey Premier MX opening round

By Press Release on 16th Feb 18

Motocross

RHLs crew have been busy laying out all the infrastructure for this year's first round of the St Blazey Premier MX, at Whiteway Barton, however, at 11.00am our onsite crew were notified the event will not be allowed to go ahead, despite being giving the all-clear from the Track Manager yesterday.

The Landowner has inspected the Paddock this morning and has stated the Paddock will not be useable for the weekend. To keep the 8 round series, RHL has secured a new date at the venue for the 18th March 2018.

First round entries will automatically be put forward to the 18th March 2018 and riders will not have to reapply. Any rider who is unable to participate in the revised first round date, please email rider@rhlactivities.com and a full refund will be given.

RHL and the team are absolutely gutted at this decision, but it is beyond RHL control.

Gareth Hockey, Director of RHL Activities commented, Unfortunately this is out of our control, myself and the team are frustrated at the decision. The team have been working non-stop since being notified to secure a new date at the venue and we are pleased to be able to confirm Round 2 will now be at Whiteway Barton on 18th March.

No Hawkstone Hill, no probs we’re all still here - and what if the International was held in the summer?

We take a look at the outrage (it wasn't an outrage) of the Hawkstone Hill not being used. Poke fun at some internet trolls, suggest that the International was frickin' awesome – because it was! And also pose the question "can the Hawkstone International be run in the summer?"
