Cambridge Trials Centre has developed the Worlds first Ossa TR280i sidecar trials outfit and nothing has been left alone!

 

This bike actually broke cover in what was supposed to be a low-profile outing in the penultimate round of the Luscombe Suzuki Leeds British Sidecar Trials Championship, staged by theYeadon-Guiseley club in deepest Yorkshire. 
 
The fuel-injected bike was undergoing some initial testing and was ridden by Jon Tuck, who came out of retirement to pilot the bike with Matt Sparkes as passenger for the day. 
 
And the pair won this round of the championship first time out,  beating the 2012 championship-winning Luscombe father and son pairing Robin and Sam in their own back yard – an amazing result!  
 
Jon reported back to Mark Davies at his March base that the engine was very strong and had lots of power and the bike had exceptional traction in all conditions. 
 
The only minor criticism was that it felt a lot lighter on the front end than anything he had previously ridden, but this made it ideal and easy to manoeuvre over rocks etc. 
 
The bike will be ridden in the Luscombe Suzuki Leeds 2013 British Sidecar Trials Intermediate Championship by the new rider and passenger combination Matthew Sparkes and Jamie (Brucie) Howe. 
 
These two were both champions this year but with their previous riding partners and are looking eagerly ahead to 2013.
