Star Racing Yamaha’s Haideen Deegan took his first 25SX West win of the year at Anaheim 2. It had been a slower than anticipated start to the season for the two-time SuperMotocross World Champion but after taking the holeshot in the Main Event, Danger Boy, finally racked one up.

Red Bull KTM’s Julien Beaumer placed second to retain the series lead as 17-year-old Kiwi rookie Cole Davies took advantage of a last-lap crash from Triumph’s Jordon Smith to take his career-first podium finish.

Beaumer now leads the series by seven points with Deegan second and Phoenix next up.
