Happy 90th Birthday Sam. Yes, on November 11, Sammy Hamilton Miller MBE turned 90 years young.

Sammy is of course a living legend, his achievements on two wheels unsurpassed which include 11 times successive British Trials titles, two European CHampionships, six Scott Trial wins, five times Scottish Six Days Trial winner and holder of nine International Six Days Trial Gold medals. In total Sammy won a total of 1482 trials!

Sam was also a successful scrambler and road racer having won the North West 200, in his native Northern Ireland, three years running in the 1950s.

It is history that when Sam left the British Ariel factory for the Spanish Bultaco concern in 1965 he changed the face of trials forever - and inadvertantly created Pre-65 trials!

After his professional career was over Sammy ran a very successful trials parts business which led in turn to the birth of the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum in New Milton, Hants, which is a World renowned institution housing over 400 motorcycles - every one of historic note.

And as he turns 90, Sam forges on regardless, still bursting with enthusiasm for all things two wheels and driving the Museum onwards.

Happy Birthday Sam!
