SSDT Day Four

News Trials Scottish Six Days Trial

A tough fourth day with wildly changing water levels in the sections played havoc with SSDT scorecards and might well contribute massively to the end result. Top performer on the day was Toby Martyn who managed to navigate the 28 sections for a loss of six marks, Martyn was followed in by Jamie Galloway and Jack Price – who both dropped eight marks – with Richard Sadler having a strong day as he lost nine on his way to fourth.

The biggest news was high scoring days for Dan and Jack Peace along with Dougie Lampkin. Lampkin lost a total of 25 which sees him slip down to ninth in the overall rankings. Of the Peace brothers, Jack had the better day – his score of 13 sees him sit second with two days to go. Dan, meanwhile, lost 17 marks, and the overall lead with it as he now sits third – three marks behind Jack Price as Sherco’s dominance of the event continues.

A strong ride for Harry Hemingway saw him end the day tied with Dan Peace for third place on 20 marks for the week so far.

It’s tight at the top with just three marks separating the front four with another tough day ahead of the riders.
