Dan Peace took another step towards victory in the 2024 SSDT by keeping a clean score sheet on the third day of competition. The Yorkshireman was one of four riders to manage the 28 sections for a loss of no marks with Dougie Lampkin, Harry Hemingway and Billy Green being the others.
By comparison it was a disappointing day for Dan’s brother Jack and Jack Price. Peace dropped two marks but still sits second in the overall classification while Price dropped five (three ones and a two) and slides to fourth in the overall running order behind Lampkin.
Thursday’s action happens mostly across the waters of Loch Linnhe with a very spectator-friendly day albeit a fairly long-distance one.
