Sherco’s Jack Price held his nerve to collect his first-ever victory in the iconic Scottish Six Days Trial.
It was a Yorkshire 1-2-3 as Price was joined on the podium by Jack Peace and Harry Hemingway as they all consolidated their positions by completing the final day for one mark lost.
Leading newcomer Toby Martyn secured fourth spot with a clean ride – a feat that Billy Green also managed.
A tough final day for Dan Peace saw him drop from joint second to fifth in the final rankings – a costly five in section nine ending his challenge for victory.
Price’s victory is Sherco’s first since Graham Jarvis won in 2006 making it a gap of 18 years since the French manufacturer’s last victory.
