Colunists

KB Racing rider, Lincoln Brewster, secured his second WOR title of 2007 with a fine win at the final round of the Michelin Endurance Championships staged at Robins Mountain, Abergele.

Riding with the determination and commitment he isfamed for, the wiry Bolton-based rider was simply untouchable and tookvictory and enough points to take the overall crown.

A fortnight earlier Lincoln secured the CF RacingEvening series and he is now going all out to claim the Gas Gas MotosUK XC series in October which could see him take three of the fourseries which WOR Events has staged this year.

The course for the final Michelin round had aface-lift and was just about perfect with a technical and flowingsix-mile lap which every rider praised.

With ten separate woodland sections coupled withlinking farm tracks and shale quarry areas, the riders were treated toa feast with several big natural jumps included.

Second in the Open class to Brewster was WelshmanAled Evans with a solid ride. Young Ashley Fox was third, a performancegood enough to clinch series runners-up place.

Harry Hillas took the Clubman class win on the day and, in fact, finished second overall to Brewster in day's results.

Jamie Robinson had a cracking ride and was classleader for nearly 90-minutes. Jamie eventually finished second and wasreally on the pace with some smooth riding.

Third spot went to Damien Butler who did just enough to secure the Clubman title.

Richard Main was absolutely flying (again!), wellin front of his Over 35 class rivals. He had been catching Brewster atthe front of the pack when he had a big smash and had to call it a day.

That left the hard-charging Jack Twentyman to maintain his momentum and take the class win with some aggressive riding.
