YEADON Guiseley and DMCC has rung the changes for the seventh round of the British Sidecar Trials Championship with a total venue switch to Fellbeck and a brand new course.
The base camp will be the north end of KingstoneFarm at Fellbeck, courtesy of Pat and Norman Shepherd. Entry is by theback road, not via the main farm entrance.
The first eight sections are in the farm area. From there, it is a two-mile run to Brimham Rocks, scene of theAppleyard British Solo Championship battle a month ago.
Just what the chair boys will make of rugged Brimham remains to be seen - and heard!
From the hardware of Brimham, the course wendsacross the Nidd valley to Heyshaw, for sections 18 to 23, followed by afive-mile jaunt across to Cockhill Lead Mines for eight rock testers. Then it is back to Kingstone Farm for an eight-section finale.
Petrol is available in Pateley Bridge and a catering unit will be at the parc ferme dispensing breakfast and finishing fodder.
And the likely lads? Robin Luscombe and Les Ashby,on home ground, are a formidable pair, but Robin and Gill Morewood havea Manx result under their belts. Will the agile Repsol Beta of Jon Tuckand Matt Sparkes have the edge on the Yorkshire hardware?
The Masters and Clubmen classes are just as unpredictable.
All will be revealed from 10.30am on Sunday morning.
