THE World Trials Championship will have comprised three rounds in three weeks this weekend with recent rounds in Italy and Poland being followed by a trip to the Czech Republic. The venue is Kramolin and the trial marks a return to the Czech venue for the first time in five years.

There is a strong entry with a similar turnout tothat of Italy and Poland which includes 19 World Championshipchallengers, no fewer than 26 Juniors and a mighty 24 Youths.

Britain has a good record in the Czech event as inthe most recent events held there Dougie Lampkin has won twice whileGraham Jarvis was victorious in 2001.

There are no prizes for guessing who starts asfavourite in 2007, as Repsol-Montesa new-boy, Toni Bou, has only beenbeaten once in eight World Championship outings so far this season! Bouhas shown that he can win in all conditions and not just over dry,Continental rocks, so nothing will cause the young Spaniard to worry.Reigning champ Adam Raga will be doing his utmost to get another win onthe board to accompany his Japanese success while Dougie Lampkin willbe digging-in as ever - before coming home to Hawkstone at the end ofthe month!

In the Junior Cup, anything bar a disaster willsuit Michael Brown although the TTT Beta rider will of course be goingall out for a win. Currently in a commanding position, 34 marks aheadof his nearest challenger, fellow-Brit Alexz Wigg, Browny will bekeeping the pressure on right to the end. Lee Sampson and Sam Haslamare both capable of a podium finish and have not just committed to theInternational season just to make up the numbers.

In the Youth Cup, Alfredo Gomez has run away intoa massive 33-point lead but Ross Danby, having put one over his bigrival in the Euro Cup last weekend will be looking for a repeatperformance in the World this weekend.

All three classes should be very competitive and we'll have a full report and pics in next week's T+MX!
